Based on Permenkes RI Number 82 of 2013 Hospital Management Information System which is hereinafter abbreviated as SIMRS is a communication information technology system that processes and integrates the entire flow of the Hospital service process in the form of coordination networks, reporting and administrative procedures to obtain information accurately and accurately, and is part of the Health Information System.

In the Permenkes too, every hospital is used to use SIMRS services to support even better service to its customers. So in the era of leadership Dr. dr. Fidiansjah, Sp.KJ, MPH. encourages the Psychiatric Hospital dr H Marzoeki Mahdi Bogor to implement the hospital digitisation system as a whole in improving the quality of health services.

Psychiatric Hospital dr H Marzoeki Mahdi Bogor is improving towards digital-based hospital services. Some people may be familiar with SIMRS. With SIMRS, hospitals can process and integrate the entire hospital service flow in the form of a coordinated network to obtain information accurately and accurately. If digitalisation is applied then all realtime data can be accessed at any time.

In Permenkes RI Number 82 of 2013 it is also stated that SIMRS must be integrated with Government and Local Government programs and is part of the Health Information System. SIMRS must also be able to improve and support the health care process in the Hospital which includes:

A. speed, accuracy, integration, service improvement, efficiency improvement, ease of reporting in operational implementation;

B. the speed of making decisions, accuracy and speed of problem identification and ease in strategising in managerial implementation; and

C. work culture, transparency, coordination between units, system understanding and reduction of administrative costs in the implementation of the organisation.

To support this, it is necessary to apply electronic medical records in using SIMRS.

At the end of January, January 27, 2022, the Preparation Workshop for the Application of Medical Records (ERM) has been held at the Diklit Building of the Psychiatric Hospital dr H Marzoeki Mahdi Bogor. This workshop is a form of follow-up to the implementation of SIMRS in the Inpatient Module and Electronic Application of Medical Records in all RSJMM service units. The previous implementation of SIMRS in the IGD, Outpatient and Supporting Modules has been running in 2020.

In this activity, Achmad Mudhakir as the Head of Hospital Information System Installation (SIRS) became a speaker in socialising the application of Medical Record Electronics. In the socialisation, the SIRS Installation Team gave directions to medical and nursing personnel in the application of Electronic Medical Records

From the workshop activity, it can be concluded that the presence of technology, especially computers in the hospital information system, is very important to support the convenience of hospital management, especially in the application of Medical Record Electronics. Therefore, with this SIMRS it can help data processing and produce fast, precise, and accurate information as needed so that it can improve the quality of health services for the community.
